About The Arts Society Cotswolds

The Arts Society Cotswolds, founded in 1969, is an active and friendly society based in the beautiful Oxfordshire town of Burford. Our meetings are held ten times a year at 11.30am on the second Wednesday of the month at Warwick Hall, Church Green, Burford, OX18 4RY. You are warmly invited to join us for fascinating lectures, special interest days, social events and visits to places of outstanding interest.

The top quality expert speakers recommended and approved by The Arts Society, deliver illustrated talks on a wide variety of topics: architecture, artists and designers, china, glass, painting, music, furniture, sculpture, jewellery and much more, ranging from prehistory to modern times. For those who enjoy hearing about a subject in greater depth, we have Special Interest Days which allow the speakers more time to share their specialist subject. If you would like to explore further afield we regularly organise visits to museums, country houses and gardens and places of historic and artistic interest, generally by coach.

Please explore this website for more information on all that you can enjoy.
